What are the common defects in PCBA processing?
1. The short circuit
That means after soldering there form some solder joints phenomenon between two separate adjacent solder spots, there are some reason are the welding spot is too close and parts arrangement is improper, the solder direction is not correct, solder speed is too fast, solder flux or coating is insufficient, solder paste coating is not good, and the amount of the solder paste is too much.
2. Empty soldering
There is no tin on the tin graben, the parts and base plate are not welded together. The reason for this situation is that the welding graben is not clean, and the parts have poor solderability when the feet are high and the parts are not well welded,point glue operation is not appropriate, so that the excessive glue in the welding cut class, will cause empty welding.The PAD with empty welding is usually in a glossy, round shape.
3. The false welding
There is tin between part pin and the weld groove, but it is not completely caught by the tin.The cause is probably rosin in the solder joint.
